About me:

I, Belinda, got interested in home organising many years ago when I realised that I had too many jumpers! Sorting these out was my first step to getting to grips with my belongings. Since that time I have been through all my material world - which is a wonderful feeling. I wanted to help others sort out their worlds so I started Home of Hidden Treasures to allow people to find more space, time and happiness in their lives. It is an honour to see the changes that start to happen as a result of our work together.

As well as being trained by Marie Kondo and her team, I also gained Distinction in the Diploma for Professional Organising and Decluttering. However, it is not all about certificates. More importantly, I love the way the sorting process I have developed works - mini miracles often occur during our work. For several years I presented at the Ideal Home Show at Olympia and was an Expert Advisor on all matters decluttering.

I have also had experience of organising in the wider sense - I was an Events Director for over twenty years in the educational sector so I am familiar with complex processes and long term systems. I trained as a NLP Health Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner, Applied Neuroscience, Hypnotherapist and Life Coach specialising in wellness. I am also a verified member of the Association of Professional Decluttering and Organisers (APDO).

My love of photography morphed into becoming a published author and photographer of three books. I am very grateful for the opportunity to give people a taste of some of the long distance walks in the UK on this site with the hope that they show space and give joy.

Where do I work?

I work in the South East of England, primarily in Surrey, West London, Sussex and Kent. However I have successfully worked with clients virtually ‘zooming’ all over the world.
