FAQ’s

  • 1. Is it worth it?

My clients think so. As I have been a fully trained home organiser for six years, my processes for clearing and organising will save you time and money. We will finish and you will have learnt new systems to manage your space which will serve you throughout your life. After completion your world is likely to feel completely different in a positive way.

  • 2. How do you work?

I work 1-1 either in your home or on line. Both are extremely effective. I am your support system throughout the work. After an initial consultation in which we look at your vision for your home and start to familiarise ourselves with the project. We usually start our work together with a four /six hour session in which you are always the one who makes the decisions about your belongings. Always.

  • 3. Do you work online?

Yes. I can work on line with you. I have worked with clients all over the world - Australia, Madeira and America as well as all over the UK! I do need to see your house on line but I do not have to be with you. We can work on clothes on line , books or paperwork very simply and effectively.

  • 4. How long will it take?

It is difficult to estimate the exact time it will take. It depends on the size of your home, the number of items you own and also the amount of organising that needs to be done. What I can say is that it will be quicker working with a home organiser than if you embarked on this on your own.

  • 5. How much do you charge?

Typically I work with you in four to six hour blocks. This can be on line or in person. I offer three packages - Gold, Silver and Bronze. I am also able to offer discounts if the entire fee is paid in advance.

  • 6. How can this work help me?

You will have a Clutter Free mind and more space in your home. Our feelings about space can be a reflection of how we feel about our lives. If you have decided to do something about your environment but are not sure where to start, then get in touch. We can make a change!

  • 7. What made you become a Home Organiser?

I did my own tidying festival a few years ago - sorting my entire home - and was so impressed by the difference in my life that I decided to train. I am now a member of the Association of Professional Decluttering and Organisers, (APDO), a fully trained Home Organiser; a Wellness Practitioner and a Hypnotherapist, all of which mean that I can help you see that treasure glinting from many different angles. When your house is sorted, your mind will be gleaming as well.

  • 8. Do I deserve help? Is this not something I need to do on my own?

Having someone who is experienced in professional organising and tidying will help you ensure that you take the simplest route. I have trained with several organisations and I can share the most effective ways to sort out your home.

  • 9. How do I need to prepare my home for your first visit?

Please ensure that you have opened the windows of your home to create a through draught for at least an hour before our appointment. If you own pets, please ensure that they are safely kept away from the working area so we will be able to work effectively without distractions.
