I often have conversations with clients which start like this:

I am stuck, can you help me declutter?

And my answer, you will be relieved to hear is…..Yes! My work is always a collaboration between my client and myself. Whilst I can work on line, I usually visit you in person and we work together in your home to make it how you want it. It is not so much what to let go of but what to treasure. Our work together can be joyful.

I know that often people get scared that they are going to be told what to do and asked to tidy up, and let go of treasured items. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are always the person who takes the decisions. I am not going to be asking you to discard items - spoiler alert! Throughout the sorting process I am your guide, your support and your resource network on all things home organising. As a result of over a thousand hours of experience in this clutter clearing work, I am familiar with navigating a way through to find that treasure again!

After an initial consultation in which we look at your vision for your home and start to familiarise ourselves with the project we are ready to begin work in earnest! We usually start our work together with a four /six hour session depending on your energy levels and we take regular short breaks to recharge the batteries. It will take longer than you expect - think how long it has taken to accumulate your belongings - but it is worth doing this process. Once you have completed a tidy, you will have created your home how you want it - and you will have strategies in place to keep it this way.
